On July 20 the youth team of BC «Lokomotiv-Kuban» started preparation for the new season. The first training session will take place in Krasnodar up to the end of July/ It will be devoted the team preparation for the final of All-Russian Sports Contests in Vyborg in August 2-10.

The European cups’ draw for the season 2010/2011 took place in Barcelona on July 08. BC «Lokomotiv-Kuban» will play in the Eurochallenge. Our team is reckoned among 10 clubs which will start a struggle from the grouping tournament. The other opponents of «Lokomotiv» in the group «F» will be established at the results of qualifying rounds of the Eurocup and Eurochallenge.

We, the undersigned representatives of Men’s Superleague A clubs, due to the events of last month which set the Russian basketball in turmoil, decided to walk out of the Basketball Superleague Board. In this situation, we consider it impossible to participate in the competition, organized and managed by the managers who have lost our trust.
