In after match press-conference BC «Lokomotiv-Kuban» head coach Kestutis Kemzura expresses his satisfaction with that «Lokomotiv» could impose a struggle on a strong rival, besides Sergio Skariolo was reasoning outlooks of his team for the next Euroleague match.
BC «Lokomotiv-Kuban» head coach Kestutis Kemzura:
— I am pleased with that we managed to impose a struggle on «Khimki». I think we looked solid in a fight against very strong team. But there were some core moments which predetermined the meeting’s outcome. In the first half we didn’t cope with «Khimki’s» pick-and-rolls and in the second one we lost rebounds and made much mistakes when the rival used zone pressing.
BC «Khimki» head coach Sergio Scariolo:
— I am glad that we have achieved one of the seson’s goal — came into Russian Cup «Final Four». This match occurred between difficult games CSKA and «Caja Laboral». But our players with the exception of the young ones succeeded in keeping the highest concentration. Next we are faced with one of the most important matches within the club history, this is Euroleague match against «Caja Laboral». I hope much that our fans and the city in a whole will support us and create a favourable atmosphere around the team. And coaches and players in turn will make all the efforts to fulfill their duties and to hold the match in a proper way.
