Mikhail Vedishchev joins the main team

The 19 years old guard have signed the contract with the main team of Lokomotiv Kuban PBC.

Mikhail Vedishchev is the graduate of Lokomotiv Academy and the second son of the club’s president. However, the player never took any advantage of nepotism, relying only on his own efforts. For example, Mikhail spent the latter half of the previous season on loan in Dinamo Vladivostok, where he played an important role in winning the Superliga.

That was not the first gold medal for him. A year earlier M. Vedishchev have won the VTB United youth league with Loko-2. He was also awarded the Best shooting guard title in the junior championship in the 2020/21 season.

Oh, what an emotions is to join the club you always loved! Loko is definitely the top club persuading the highest goals. Being the chairman's son puts some extra responsibility on me. So, I am ready to do everything that coaches will ask and to be a proper part of the team. Also, it's cool that we have three winners of the VTB United league in Loko now: Kirill Yelatontsev, my best buddy Kirill Temirov, and I. I hope we will do some showtime in the main VTB league!
