The Loko guard shared his thoughts on tomorrow's game.
- Two weeks without the VTB United League games. Have you missed them?
- Well, yeah. I am glad that the league back. Andryukha [Martyuk] and I did not have much rest, but mentally we have definitely recharged. Being called up to the national team during the season is a great opportunity to change the environment a bit. So we are back from the training camp ready to work with new energy and positivity.
- How was it in the national team?
- We played two games with good teams and gained new experience. This time, many very young guys joined us, as well as experienced comrades Astap [Anton Astapkovich] and Ganya [Alexander Gankevich], and the coaching staff managed to involve everyone. Also, I became a two-time winner of the Friendship Cup. That's cool!
- Loko will play 4 away games in a row. How hard is it?
- I prefer living in the moment, focusing on the next game, which I always consider the most important one. It's destructive to think about the fact that after Kazan there are three more cities ahead, that there will be flights, buses – no. All our thoughts must be only about the next game.
- So, what do you think about the next game?
- We try to approach each game in the same way. In any case, we will do everything possible to defeat UNICS. With them, we have always had very interesting and exciting games in recent years. I think that this game will be no exception. And we are ready for it.
