The Loko forward became one of the main heroes of the victorious game against Uralmash (90:83).
- How much pressure did you feel after the previous loss?
- Of course, it wasn't easy to get ourselves together after the defeat in Samara. Before today's game, we had a serious talk with the coaching staff, discussed what to change to prevent such losses from happening again. I think we coped good and showed our true character today.
- What do you think is the reason of 40% 2-pointers scoring today?
- Oh yeah, such bad days sometimes happen. I think we lost focus a bit: we couldn't make even the easiest shots from under the hoop. Of course, we don't like it when the clutch turns so tense. But that's the game. Uralmash is a very good team with strong players: they share the ball well, can score both from the drive and from long range. So, it's good that in the end we were able to get back into the game thanks to our defense and win.
- You scored both of your 3-point attempts...
- I knew I could do it. But I'm more happy with how we fought today. So did I. Maybe at some point it spurred the team on and helped us catch the right rhythm.
- The fourth game of your away tour is already on Wednesday. How do you rate your upcoming opponent?
- It will 100% be just as difficult against PARMA, especially in their noisy arena. So we must not relax under any circumstances and let them catch their game. We must show from the first minutes that we are determined to take what is ours!
