Welcome, Aleksandr!

Aleksandr Gudumak, who usually plays power forward, joins Lokomotiv Kuban PBC.

The 31-year-old power forward spent the first half of the 2023/24 season at Samara BC, where he played 14 games, averaging 10.5 points and 4.8 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 0.9 blocks in 24 minutes.

Gudumak began his career at CSKA, with whom he won two VTB United League gold medals. The player also became the Superliga-1 champion as part of Sakhalin. In the same season (2015/16), he was recognized as the tournament’s most valuable player.

Alexander Gudumak will play for Lokomotiv-Kuban under #6. A contract with him has been signed until the end of the 2025/26 season.

Aleksandr Gudumak is an experienced player who will add variability and toughness to our game on both sides of the court. The player has made significant progress in recent years. I think that his dedication and tenacity will help us achieve our goals. I also expect that he will share his experience with the young players thus accelerating their progress.
