Loko coaches led their team to victory at the All-Star Game

The "Hosts" team, managed by the coaching staff of Lokomotiv Kuban PBC, won the IX All-Star Game of the VTB United League with a score of 124:107.

The “Visitors” took a fairly confident lead and won the first quarter 34:23. However, the “Hosts” tied the score by the big break (62:62), and won the third ten minutes with more than a two-fold advantage, 39:19, after which it only remained to maintain the created gap.

Two of Loko players took part for the “Hosts”: Kirill Yeatontsev scored 6 points and made 4 rebounds in 11 minutes on the court, forward Aleksandr Gudumak played 3 minutes, scoring 2 points. Patrick Miller spent 17 minutes on the court for the “Visitors” – he scored 5 points, made 6 rebounds and 6 assists. The country's main basketball show brought together the best players of the VTB United league and gave the audience a real feast! We wanted to win - and that's what we did! I would like to note that the intelligence of the game was very high. I congratulate Miller, Yelatontsev and Gudumak on their debut in the Star Weekend! And the victory of the "Hosts" with the help of two Loko players will go down in history!

The most valuable player title was awarded to CSKA forward Nikita Kurbanov (20 points). The slam dunk contest was won by Vladislav Perevalov from Yenisei, and the three-point contest was won by Garrett Navels from PARMA.

Now it’s going to be a pause in the VTB United League championship due to the training camps of the national teams. Lokomotiv Kuban will play their next game on March 1 in Yekaterinburg against Uralmash. We will play at home on March 9 – it will be Zenit.
