We started very well, but towards the end of the 2nd quarter started making unnecessary mistakes and getting fouls. We managed to come back thanks to our defense: important interceptions and rebounds reduced the gap. In attack, we started moving the ball better and were able to score. We do not absolve ourselves of responsibility for being able to prevent Zhbanov from throwing it out at the last second. But in some ways, I think Zenit was lucky.
How is my adaptation going? I am very happy to be aside such players, to face serious opponents and get playing time. Of course, there is more responsibility, but this does not scare me. I want to continue in the same way, work harder and be worthy of the main team.
