Tahjere McCall: “Game #4 will be a battle”

The Lokomotiv Kuban guard became the best scorer (20 points) in the winning game against Uralmash (112:68).
You did not give Uralmash a chance today!..
We have a goal and will do everything to achieve it. Before the game, we talked a lot with the team and really got ready.
It seemed like the level of contact was even higher than in the first two games. Was that really the case?
Yes, but I think it's okay. It's a kind of strength test. Hard contact will prepare us to play even better in the next games.
You've made a decent lead by the big break already. How?
Due to defense and rebounds. If we play these aspects as well as we can, we always have a good chance to win. Of course, offense is important, but in the playoffs, defense is key.
Today you played one of your best games for Loko. How would you rate your performance?
Well, maybe a humble 10/10 will be enough (laughs). But seriously, it doesn't matter how I played, the main thing is the victory. I just try to do what I can. Today my points helped the team, tomorrow someone else will score them. Victory is the only thing that matters.
Loko is one step away from the semi-finals. What will be decisive in the next game?
It will be a tough game. The first thing we need to do now is to recover and get fully prepared. The opponent will definitely play tough, especially in front of their fans. Game #4 will be a battle, so we must be mentally prepared for it and not relax under any circumstances.
