The Lokomotiv Kuban guard shared his emotions after the victory over Uralmash (82:77) and reaching the semi-finals.
- How do you feel right now?
- I'm glad we won! I've probably never been so nervous. When you go out on the court, you usually feel calm, but today I didn't spend much time playing. At the end, I was really worried, being on the bench. But we did well - it's a victory!
- How hard was it to defeat Uralmash?
- I can't say that Uralmash did something special today, it's all about us. It's time to draw the right conclusions so as not to repeat mistakes in the next stages of the playoffs. Anyway, respect to Uralmash, I think our quarterfinal series was the most interesting. And now, it's time to move on.
- Your next opponent is Zenit. What can you tell about them?
- We know them well. Last year we played them for third place. This season score is 2:2, but the playoffs are a different matter. The series is up to four wins, so psychology and attitude will be especially important. I believe that we have every chance to achieve our goals. Everything is in our hands.
