The Lokomotiv Kuban forward became one of the main heroes of the 4th game against Uralmash (82:77) – Anton scored 17 points, made 3 steals and scored two important long-range shots in the second half.
- What can you say about the outcome of the series?
- Good that we made it to the semi-finals. That was quite hard, but we did not expect it to be easy. But it's just the first step. Now we must go to the next round with our heads held high and with faith in our hearts.
- What did you feel when you were fouled out 15 seconds before the siren?
- I felt confidence that we would win. When I fouled, I understood that this would my 5th. Anyway, it is not my fouls that are important, but the team's. We won, so we did everything right. Today I tried to give everything of myself both on the court and then, on the bench, I tried to somehow cheer up the team. Losing to Uralmash again would not be okay at all.
- What do you think of your next opponent, Zenit?
- Zenit is a strong and well-balanced team. They have a lot of individually strong players in all positions. So we must prepare seriously. Right now we will rest a little, recover and with renewed strength continue the fight!
