Tahjere McCall: “The best response to the tough game is winning”

The Lokomotiv Kuban guard gave an interview to the club's press service before game #3 of the semi-final series.
Do you think the next game will be more of a game or a fight?
A little bit of both. I think it will be a good game, but it's also going to be a dogfight for sure.
Are you ready for the fight?
Yeah, always. I'm a good guy, but also a competitor. So that's just my competitive spirit when it comes to battling. And the best response to the tough game is winning. Winning, for sure.
What's the mood in the team after the previous result?
Motivated. Confident. Know we can get it done. We just got to fulfill it and see it through all the way, but we are motivated.
What exactly should Loko improve to defeat Zenit?
Rebound, finishing the game, defense. The same things you need every game, especially in the playoffs. Comes down to shot-making, so making some shots. Other than that, just playing the same game.
Is the home arena a big advantage?
For us, it brings good energy. The fans are always there, always loud, always cheering for us. So it always helps, especially playoffs, momentum shifts, things like that. So for sure.
