Semifinal Game #4 – what do statistics and team members say

On May 13 at 20:00 Lokomotiv-Kuban will play Game #4 of the VTB United League semifinals against Zenit. At the moment, the score in the best-of-seven series is 1-2 in favor of the Petersburgers.
Andrey Vedishchev, the head coach at Lokomotiv Kuban PBC

we prepare to Game #4 in full understanding that it will be very difficult. We need to be as focused as possible and ready for any scenario on the court. I want to see dedication and concentration from my team throughout the game, not just in some segments. We need to minimize slumps so as not to lose the advantage that we are creating. In the fourth game, everything will be decided by character. I believe that we will show it.

All the fresh statistics is presented in the fresh issue of our pre-game electronic booklet.

It is interesting that after Game #3, Lokomotiv became the leader in rebounds, and also significantly improved the percentage of 3-pointers.

Zenit lost one position in the number of blocked shots and the percentage of two-pointers.

Patrick Miller overtook Alexey Shved in the average number of assists per game, Isaiah Whaley is now higher than Vince Hunter in the ranking of the best blockers.

I think we will defenitely maintain the same level of energy as in the previous game, because we are more desperate than our opponent. We still cannot allow Zenit to get the third victory in the series under any circumstances. In this regard, today's game will be no different from Sunday's. Everyone in our team understands this perfectly. And we will fight in exactly the same way - and even harder, because we need to win to go to St. Petersburg with the score 2-2 and continue winning on the road. We had excellent support from the stands at the last game. I really felt that this was a playoff game. I hope the same atmosphere will be today. It really helps us play better.

At the time of publishing this preview, there were 41 tickets left for sale for the lower tier + court seats, as well as about 800 tickets for the upper tier. It seems that today we will set a season record for attendance for mgames on weekdays.

Come early so as not to miss the start of the game (Lokomotiv did very well in the previous two debuts). Let’s help our team even the score in the series!

Go, Loko!
