The Lokomotiv Kuban point guard had another great game in the current playoffs – his 28 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists helped him beat Zenit (75:74) and move the semi-final series to a 7th game.
- What happened with Loko in the first half and what made you back into the game after the big break?
- We started the game with a lack of energy. At halftime, the coaches picked up the right words, so we managed to play with the right energy. And as soon as good defense began, we started scoring.
- Can you tell us what were your thoughts before the decisive free throws at the very end?
- You know, making them. I've been in that situation, in Game 2. I remember I missed because I got poked in the eye in that episode, so I wanted to make them this time.
- What were your thoughts at the final 10 seconds, when Zenit had the ball?
- To get a stop, and we said if we can get a stop, no matter what happens on the rebound, knock it out. AC did so well down the stretch, man, so that was really good.
- Did you know that it will be Bacon who will make the final attack?
- I think, all the arena knew it would be Bacon. He is a great player, MVP of the league, so we wanted to make it tough. As I said, AC did good on stopping him, I was going to help a little bit, so we were able to get the stop.

- How hard was it mentally to spend most of the game behind your opponent?
- I was thinking just about playing hard and playing with energy and letting the best team win, so that was my mindset going into this game, just playing hard and just leaving it out there on the floor, and I feel like we deserve to win tonight.
- What will be the most important thing in Game #7?
- Coming out with energy, way better than we did the last game, so I think we're going to have energy, because it's Game #7. We've been in this, a lot of us on this team have been in this position last year, playing UNICS in game seven, so I think it's going to be fun, and I'm going to be extra juicy, because it's my birthday, too.
