Welcome, Royce!

Lokomotiv Kuban PBC and Royce Hamm have signed a two-year agreement – the contract is valid until the end of the 2026/27 season.

Royce DeWayne Hamm Jr. (born March 17 1999, 206 cm, 102 kg) began his pro career with the Belgian club Antwerp Giants, after six months of which, in the winter of 2023, he moved to Zenit. He spent the 2023/24 regular season with Astana, was the league leader in rebounds (8.4), and before the playoffs joined PARMA, for which he played until today.

His statistics for the 2024/25 season are 15.5 points + 8.2 rebounds + 1.0 assists + 0.7 steals + 0.7 blocks in 30:27 minutes of playing time.

In the current season, the center is leading the league in rebounds again. Also in February of this year, Hamm took part in the VTB United League All-Star Game.

Andrey Vedishchev, the president of Lokomotiv Kuban PBC

I am glad that Royce Hamm will be part of our system for the next seasons. He is a talented player, capable of playing both as a center and a forward. When Royce started playing in the VTB United League, it was clear that he is a player who is always charged with good energy and mobility on both sides of the court. I count on Hamm's strengths and his further progress as part of Lokomotiv.
