Hello, Lokofamily!
Eight years ago, when I was still a naive boy, I came to visit my friends in Krasnodar and didn’t even know what was waiting for me ahead. A chain of events led to me being noticed and invited on an exciting journey. I became part of a wonderful family in the professional basketball club Lokomotiv Kuban.
Looking back, I first of all remember the people with whom I have traveled this long path. I remember all the coaches – the youth project, and then the main team. Each of you contributed to my development as a player and a professional. You generously shared your experience and helped me reach a new level.
I remember all the teammates with whom we went through hell and high water. We suffered harsh defeats, got up and won loud victories. Together we sweated litres during training, earned bruises and injuries.
I remember the wonderful medical staff of the club – your knowledge, attention and care for my health are invaluable. I remember the managers, team staff and club office employees – your mentoring and experience allowed me not to worry about anything and concentrate only on basketball.
I remember the huge fan base of the club and loyal fans of the team! I always felt your love – outside the court and in the arena during the games! You are forever in my heart!
I am very grateful and thankful. Together with you, I matured and developed. I grew as a person and as a professional athlete. The time in Krasnodar will forever remain in my memory and heart!
My special gratitude goes to the President of Lokomotiv Kuban PBC Andrey Vedishchev. I am immensely grateful for the opportunity you gave me 8 years ago! You helped me move to Krasnodar, get settled, and created everything for professional growth. All these years you believed in me, guided me, and pushed me forward to new achievements. I appreciate your enormous contribution to my life both as an athlete and as a person!
The time has come in my career to move on – to new challenges! It is with sadness and great gratitude that I thank you all and say not “goodbye,” but “thank you very much, see you again”!
I love you, Lokofamily!
