On August 21, a meeting was held in the Krasnodar Krai administration to discuss patriotic education of youth through sports. The event was attended by basketball players of our main team and the Russian national team Kirill Temirov, Anton Kvitkovskikh and Kirill Elatontsev, as well as players of Loko-2010, winners of the national championship Ilya Usoltsev and Dmitry Krasnyakov.
Vice-Governor of Kuban region Alexander Vlasov presented the employees of the club and the Basketball Federation of Krasnodar Krai with letters of gratitude for their contribution to the patriotic education of youth, the implementation of the large-scale sports and patriotic project “Victory Lokomotive” and also other social and humanitarian actions of the club, such as support for the participants in the liquidation of the oil outflow in the Kerch Strait and assistance to residents of the Kursk region.
In September, the Lokomotiv Kuban youth training center will host the Phygital basketball festival “Path to Victory” – the first of the events planned by our club and the regional Federation together with the Union of Cossack Youth of Kuban and the regional branch of the State Fund “Defenders of the Fatherland”.
