Before the game against Uralmash, we spoke with the guard who was the Yekaterinburg team's #1 star player last season and has since become Lokomotiv Kuban's top scorer (14.6 points) in preseason.
- Will the game against Uralmash be special for you?
- Yeah, of course it will be special for me. It's the first time I get to play this season for the new team, and we're playing against my old team, so I get to see familiar faces and we're just going out to get the win.
- Is Loko ready for the game?
- I think we're ready. We just had a good pre-season out in Turkey playing those games, and we're just having good practices going towards the game, so I feel like we're ready.
- How much do you think Uralmash's game will change compared to the previous season?
- I honestly don't know, but I feel like if we control ourselves and we control what we can control, we'll be good. It’s not about Uralmash, it's about Loko.
- It's about 6,000 tickets sold already...
- I feel like the crowd is going to be excited. I'm also excited to play in front of the fans, a new fan base, one of the top fans in the league, so I'm going to go out and play hard, and I'm sure my teammates will do the same thing.
