The captain of Lokomotiv Kuban told us about his own and the whole team's mood before the start of the season.
- What are your feelings before the start of the season?
- I'm excited. I'm expecting the fans to be in here looking forward to this new season and how we're going to be as a team. I'm very excited to get off to a new season. I think we're going to be good.
- In Turkey, Loko had some good games and some bad games. Why?
- It's preseason. You've got different lineups out there, different rotations, so you're trying to see what's going to work for the season. It's about ups and downs. It's just about getting close as a team and knowing what everybody's strengths and weaknesses are. So we just continue to bond on the court.
- Do you feel the progress in Loko's team game?
- Yeah, I think we got better from our first day. I think we played enough preseason games to be ready for this season. And now it's just about staying positive and having that energy to carry over into the season.
- What does the coach tell you about Uralmash?
- We know Uralmash. Everybody's familiar with the league in this team other than K[assius Robertson]. But we know what kind of game they're going to play, what kind of players they got. So we just went over their stuff today and we're going to be prepared. We know what kind of defense they're playing and who they're looking for on offense.
- Want to say something to the fans?
- We need you. Come support us. We got the best fans in the league and we need to show that from day one. So I'm ready for the fans to get in here and the new guys that's finally here can get to see how great our fans are.
