Against MBA-MAI (88:85), the 22-year-old guard played his best game for Lokomotiv Kuban so far: 9 points, 3 steals and the team’s highest "plus-minus" (+13).
- What can you say about the outcome of the game?
- A great win. We played as a team, fought hard the entire game and got the result we needed.
- What was the key moment this evening?
- I think it was about 7 minutes before the end of the 4th quarter. We made a couple of steals, defended well, and took a 7-point lead. That was decisive.
- What did the coach say in the big break?
- That we needed to rebound better, because we were losing a lot of rebounds in the first half, especially in our post. The coach told us to play together and be a team. I think we did it in the 2nd half.
- You've been getting a lot of praise for your defensive play in the comments on the club's social media. What do you think of that?
- Wow, cool! I'm trying my best to help the team win. It's great that people appreciate it. I'll try to play even better.
- Was it your best game in the VTB United league?
- I think so. But I haven't played much in the league yet. I hope I have many more better games to come.
- Did you hear the Loko fans today?
- Of course! We heard the support very clearly. I want to thank the fans. It's great that people support us not only in Krasnodar. We appreciate it.
