Anton Kvitkovskikh: “We deserved this win with our dedication”

15 points and 10 rebounds from the Lokomotiv Kuban forward helped the team secure an away victory over Uralmash (87:69), despite a shortened roster.
How hard was it to win?
We knew it wouldn't be easy, because Uralmash had a longer bench than we did. But we pulled through thanks to aggression, desire, communication, and team chemistry. The guys who played gave all their energy, both on defense and offense. We might have been a little lucky on a few tough shots, but I think we deserved it. We absolutely deserved this win with our dedication and defense. Bravo to the team.
This is the second game in a row that you've made a double-double. Has that ever happened before to you?
I don't think so. Probably in some youth teams, but definitely not at a professional level.
You have a band-aid on your face again. Who did you get it from this time?
Maybe from Javonte Douglas or someone else, I didn't notice. I got hit with an elbow while rebounding, and I didn't immediately realize it was a cut. It was only when I saw blood dripping. Well, that happens; basketball is a contact sport, so I'm not worried about it at all.
