Since we’ve beaten BETCITY PARMA in Krasnodar 90:77, they had won away against Avtodor (75:67), suffered a crushing defeat from CSKA in the Winline Basket Cup (66:104), defeated UNICS (90:82) and Pari NN (93:85) at home, and was once again hardly beaten by CSKA (55:93). They are 6th in the VTB United League at the moment, with 8 wins and 6 losses.
Their leaders remain the Adams guys, who are not relatives, just share the same last name.
Point guard Brendan Adams spends the most time on the court (34:26) out of all BETCITY PARMA players, scores the most points (16.6), makes the most assists (6.0), and also provides his team with 2.6 rebounds and 1.1 steals.
Jaylen Adams, who is also a point guard, is scoring 13.3 points, shooting 44.6% from three-point line (2.2 of 5.0 attempts), averaging 2.8 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 1.6 steals.
Center Terrell Carter leads the team in rebounds (6.3), fouls committed (3.6), and fouls called on him (4.7). He’s third among Perm players in scoring (11.3) and blocks (0.6). His 1.7 assists and 1.3 steals are also a good stats.
20-year-old center Gleb Firsov averages 11.1 points, 4.9 rebounds, 0.8 assists, 0.7 steals and 0.8 blocks (in the latter parameter he shares the 1st-2nd place on the team).
Another center, Mikael Hopkins, also has 0.8 blocks, and his statistics also include 9.2 points, 6.2 rebounds (2nd place in BETCITY PARMA), 1.4 assists and 1.0 steals.
Another Perm center, Alexander Shashkov, leads his team in a rather surprising statistic: 3-point accuracy: 60.0% in a solid sample size—0.9 out of 1.5 shot made on average per game. This helps him average 6.4 points, accompanied by 3.1 rebounds and 0.8 assists. However, Shashkov‘s box plus/minus is by far the worst on the team—minus 4.0.
As for the best plus/minus in Perm, it currently belongs to another Alexander – a small forward named Zakharov (+5.1). He’s one of the most versatile Russian 3D-wings in the championship, averaging 6.3 points, 2.9 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 0.8 steals, and 0.3 blocks.
And, of course, it’s hard to imagine the current BETCITY PARMA roster without shooting guard Victor Sanders. He has the 2nd-highest playing time (30 minutes), the 2nd-highest plus/minus (+4.9), double-digit scoring (10.8), as well as 3.5 rebounds, 3.1 assists, and 1.7 steals—the best on our opponent’s team and 6th-best in the entire league.
n terms of team statistics, it’s worth noting BETCITY PARMA’s 3rd place in rebounds (37.6) and steals (8.7). However, Lokomotiv Kuban leads the league in both of these metrics (38.3 and 9.1, respectively). Now we need to convert this statistical advantage into field results. We believe our team is capable of this.
