Thank you, Anton Nikolayevich!

Lokomotiv Kuban PBC has decided to exit the contract with Anton Yudin.

Yudin took over the Lokomotiv-Kuban main team in July 2025 and spent 22 official games as head coach, winning 12 of them.

We wish Anton Nikolayevich success in his future career and thank him for his time at Lokomotiv.

Andrey Vedishchev, the president of Lokomotiv Kuban PBC

Unfortunately, it didn't work out for us. I really wanted to give the Russian specialist a chance to prove himself at the top level, but... Our play and current results, including losses in 5 of 6 games against our main opponents in the VTB United League and a 0-3 in the Winline Basket Cup, are not the level Lokomotiv is capable of. We shall overcome the current difficulties and once again become a team that can compete for victory in any game. I would like to thank Anton Nikolayevich for his work. I hope this experience will help him in the future and have a positive impact on his professional career. Preparation for the next game against Uralmash has been entrusted to the 1st assistant coach Janko Pejčić.

Alexey Pegushin, the vice president at Lokomotiv Kuban PBC

I wish Anton Nikolayevich further success. I think that after trying his hand as head coach of a VTB League team, he'll draw some conclusions and get better from there. I feel sad that it didn't work out at Lokomotiv.
