Welcome back, Zakhar!

Attacking guard Zakhar Vedishchev has returned to the Lokomotiv Kuban team.

Zakhar Vedishchev is a product of Lokomotiv Kuban’s youth system. He made his debut for the main team in 2018 and has since played 112 matches for the red-greens across all competitions. With Lokomotiv, he won the 2017/18 Russian Cup and silver medals in the 2022/23 VTB United League.

He began the previous season with Yenisei, but an injury prevented him from fully expressing himself there and at Dynamo Vladivostok, where he continued the season.

We're delighted to welcome Zakhar back to the club, which is probably his home. Many of us here know him well; have played together and trained together. We see him as a player who will add depth to our roster and expand our rotation in the backcourt. Zakhar's contract runs until the end of the season. We wish him the best of luck and success in showing his best side.
