The Lokomotiv Kuban forward catalysed the run that helped them win over Samara (96:79), scoring 17 points and making 4 steals.
- What's gone wrong with Loko in the first half?
- I don't know, maybe some players thought it would be kind of an easy game just based on Samara's record and stuff. But you've got to play hard against every team. I think early on, we gave them some confidence. And when you give professional players confidence, it can turn any game into a close competitive game.
- What did the coach say in the big break?
- A bunch of the coaches got on certain players, said they weren't playing hard enough, and how we were playing was unacceptable. So in the middle of the 3rd quarter I think we finally got it going.
- What helped turn the game in the right way?
- Just our intensity and focus. In the second half we had more focus on our game, and we got a lead and made it more difficult for them to get good shots, to get comfortable, and it got us to win.
- A couple words for our fans.
- I think all the players and coaches appreciate the support. Their energy, all the noise they make, it definitely helps us.
