The Lokomotiv Kuban forward spent 16 minutes on the court against Mega (109:102), scoring 5 points, making 3 rebounds and 1 block.
- You played the most minutes of the season today, and on important stretches. How do you feel of that?
- I feel great! I really missed playing minutes, or rather, lots of them. At first, I was nervous. I quickly got tired, but then I found a rhythm, and felt comfortable going forward.
- Are you happy with your performance today?
- Yes, but I must do better. We'll analyze the mistakes and move on.
- Neither team managed to create a big lead today. Why do you think that is?
- I think it's because the teams were of equal level. We had a young team today, and there were young guys there, and everyone wanted to win, everyone was fighting for the victory today.
- There was a moment in the third quarter when Mega started to find their groove, but you quickly levelled the game. How did you do that?
- We pulled ourselves together in defense, started working at 200%, and didn't allow any stupid mistakes. And also, we hit some shots we needed.
- Loko had no chance to get to the Final Four, no matter the result. What was your motivation then?
- I think everyone just wants to play. It doesn't matter what kind of tournament situation it is: a walkover game or something really important. Everyone loves to win, so everybody played to win. The coach said exactly the same: no matter the meaning of the game, you have to play 100% and give it your all.
- What can you say about the atmosphere at today's game?
- Excellent. The atmosphere at the in-season cup is a little different, and it's cool, pleasing to the eye.
