Patrick Miller: “It want to pack on some more games for Loko”

We spoke with the captain of Lokomotiv Kuban about his playing anniversary and the upcoming game against CSKA.
In Perm, you’ve played your 100th game for Loko…
Yeah, I can't believe it, you know it's going that fast so that just shows how long you know I've been here and I just want to continue you know pack on some more games for Loko.
Do you remember your first game here?
I think it was against UNICS. I just got here like two days before, and we won here at home. It was a great win.
What was your most remarkable game for Loko?
I'll say last year, when I scored 14 points in overtime to help to extend the playoffs so I'm going to say that game.
The next game will be against CSKA. Are you looking forward to it?
Yes, they're the best team at the moment, and I love playing against the best teams, it's challenging. We've played them three or four times this season, and we've been in the dogfight with them every game except for the first one we played them at their gym. But we're a different team now, we continue trying to get better so hopefully we can pull out the win, we need it.
What will be the main thing to beat them?
Defense, what we just said in practice is every minute counts, every possession counts. Just being locked in for 40 minutes, it's going to be ups and downs of the game. The last couple of games we played them, we lost in the final minutes. It's going to be hard fought 40 minutes, and if we focus on defense and make the right plays down the stretch we can get the win.
We expect a sold-out at this game, are you glad with this?
Always, love when the games are sold out, it gives us extra motivation, gives us extra support we need. We want the gym to be loud and we want to get a win for ourselves and for the fans.
