Thank you, BJ!

Lokomotiv Kuban PBC and BJ Johnson have reached an agreement to terminate their contract.

Johnson first joined Lokomotiv Kuban in the summer of 2024, but missed the second half of the season due to injury. In November 2025, the club decided to sign the American forward again. Since then, Johnson has played 20 games for us in the VTB United League and the intra-season cup, averaging 19 minutes per game with 8.1 points (36.1% from two-point range, 33.9% from three-point range, 84.8% from the free throw line), 3.0 rebounds, 0.6 assists, 0.8 steals, and 0.5 blocks, with an efficiency rating of 7.2.

BJ wasn't feeling okay here. He thought that he wasn't giving Lokomotiv his best, which worsened his morale, so he decided to go the other way. We decided not to stop his search for a better future. Of course, we'll have to restructure our game, but we have a big roster, and now the club's talented alumni have a great chance to take a step up and help us achieve our goals for this season.
