On March 5, Lokomotiv Kuban's new center finally returned to Krasnodar after his adventurous trip to Qatar. We asked Alen about his impressions and his mood for the upcoming VTB United League game.
- In Russia, there was no official broadcast of Qatar's game against India. How was it?
- It was bad. I mean we won, that's the most important. But my individual game was very bad. I was, you know, exhausted and trying to recover from all these flights.
- Your national team's next game, against Saudi Arabia, is postponed. Until when?
- It's going to be in June probably before the next international window. But still it's not like 100%.
- What was happening in Qatar? Rockets, sirens or something?
- No, no sirens and stuff. We were getting emergency alerts on our phones. Just suggested they stay home. Some people were going underground to the parking lots. A very unfortunate situation. Honestly I'm happy just to be in Krasnodar finally.
- What are the chances of you playing against Yenisei?
- The chances are big. I'm finally here and ready to play.
- What can you say about Yenisei?
- They are well trained, well prepared with good tactics, they are a great team. But I hope Loko will win.
