Loko started the road game against CSKA from Babb’s two-pointer. Antonov responded with the same shot. Khvostov and Antipov’s threes created an advantage for Krasnodar and made Itoudis take timeout. CSKA shot four free throws but failed to attempt successfully any of them. Kurbanov and Higgins’ threes let CSKA catch up Loko. Kulagin scored two, but Vorontsevich shot two free throws. In the fourth period, Loko got a double-digit advantage for the first time in the game (67:57) due to Babb’s shot. In the mid of the quarter, Khvostov shot from downtown and improved Loko’s lead. Three minutes to the end of the game, the score was 72:80 in favor of Lokomotiv. Kulagin shot two free throws – 77:87. Broekhoff shot three and Loko had a 13-point lead. Lokomotiv Kuban became the first team which beat CSKA this season in the VTB United League – 90:79.
