A graduate of the CSKA academy, Lopatin won the VTB United Youth League championship three times with the team and was named the MVP of the play-offs in 2018. Internationally, he participated in the 2015 European U18 All-Star Game, and in the VTB United League, he twice played in the All-Star Game (2023, 2024).
He joined Loko from UNICS, where he won a league silver medal in the 2025/26 season, averaging 7.1 points while shooting 44.7% from three-point range. His plus-minus rating (+7.1) was the best on the team among players who appeared in more than half of the games.
