At the age of 17, Anton began regularly playing in the VTB United League for Avtodor Saratov. At the same time, he won the DYuBL championship.

In 2021, he made his debut for the Russian national team in a game against Estonia.

In the summer of 2022, Kvitkovskikh signed a contract with Lokomotiv Kuban. In his first league game for the club, against MBA, Anton scored a half-court buzzer.

In August 2025, he scored 22 points against Egypt, thus setting his personal scoring record for the Russian national team.
