Jeremiah Oljawain Martin Jr. was the first player in the history of the University of Memphis basketall team to score more than 40 points twice in a season.

During the 2019-20 and 2020-21 seasons, he played 21 NBA games (including 3 playoff games) for the Brooklyn Nets and Cleveland Cavaliers. While playing for Brooklyn, he scored 24 points in a 108-96 win over the Orlando Magic on August 11, 2020.

After playing in the Australian (with the New Zealand Breakers) and German (with Göttingen) leagues, he signed with Polish club Śląsk and was named to the Polish League’s All-Star Team, becoming its top scorer (19.1 points), and also leading the EuroCup in steals (2.0).

After joining Yenisei in the summer of 2023, he earned an invitation to the VTB United League All-Star Game.

He spent the following season with Uralmash, helping them win their first-ever Russian Cup and was selected to the Final Four All-Star Team. In the VTB United League, Martin became the season’s top scorer, finishing third in steals, and trailing only Patrick Miller in average efficiency (20.1).

In the summer of 2025, he signed a one-year contract with Lokomotiv Kuban.
