Royce DeWayne Hamm Jr. began his professional career with the Belgian club Antwerp Giants and then, after six months, he transferred to Zenit St. Petersburg. In the 2023/24 regular season, the player led the league in rebounds (8.4), and before the playoffs, he joined PARMA, where he won the league’s top rebounder title for the second consecutive year (8.2 rebounds).

Hamm has twice played in the VTB United League All-Star Game (2023, 2024).

In the summer of 2025, he signed a one-year contract with Lokomotiv Kuban.
