While playing for New Mexico State in the NCAA, he helped the team win the WAC conference title and was named the tournament’s Most Valuable Player.
After beginning his professional career within the Houston Rockets system, Queen won the G League championship with the Rio Grande Valley Vipers. Following his rookie season, the guard earned several honors: he was named both the regular-season MVP and the Finals MVP, and was selected to the All-G League First Team and the All-Defensive Team. Subsequently, he played for Philadelphia, Indiana, and Orlando (totaling 62 NBA career games), made three appearances in the G League Next Up Game, and was named MVP of that game in 2024.
Queen spent the 2025–26 season in China playing for the Guangdong Southern Tigers. In 39 regular-season games, he averaged 19.9 points, 5.7 rebounds, 5.2 assists, and 2.6 steals per game.
Lokomotiv Kuban is the first European club of Queen’s career.
