The calendar of the Professional Basketball league Championship has been approved
On the 2-nd of September there has been hold a conference of the Professional Basketball (PBL) league council in the VIP-hall of the Sports Palace «Dynamo» in Krylatskoe. Heads of ten club-participants discussed a number of key questions. The PBL Regulations and the calendar of the First PBL Championship were adopted unanimously.

Today Krasnodarian schoolboys are going to visit the final match of the grouping competitions within the World Championship. The match Russia-Greece will be the last live basketball event in Turkey for them but the guys have to return.

The National Team of Russia won over the National Team of Côte d'Ivoire with the score 72:66 in the third tour match of the World Championship. The best players were the centres Timofey Mozgov (19 points) and Alexandre Kaun (13). Lithuania gained three wins within three matches and made a serious bid for the first place in the group D.

«Lokomotiv-Kuban» gained a victory in Saint-Petersburg in the dramatic match with the score 76:72 and won the series 2:0 and occupied the fifth place in the Russian Championship. This result will let our team play in the prestigious European tournament — EuroCup next season!
