Mantas Kalnietis named VTB League regular season MVP

Mantas had a brilliant regular season and was deservedly recognized as the best player in the championship. Kalnietis became the first Loko player to receive such a prize at the end of the VTB League regular season in the entire history of the team's participation in the tournament!

Mantas averaged 9.6 points and also made 3.4 rebounds and 9.8 assists per game. The average efficiency of Kalnietis was 17.3. In the regular season Mantas played 20 matches and he started all the games in the starting five!

Loko has been playing in the VTB League since the 2011/12 season, but until this year the team’s players have never received such recognition!

For me it is big honor to get this title! I would like to say thank you for all my teammates, coaches, doctors, all people who works at Loko office and ofcourse for our fans, who support us in this unusual season. And it is not only words. I'm not good individual player, so I received MVP only because we were successful as a team! Specially would like to appreciate for my family. It was challenge for them to live without me, but they have been patient, so I share this prize with them!
