Loko wins Russian Cup

Lokomotiv Kuban beat Nizhny Novgorod in the finale – 85:64 and won the Russian Cup 2017/18. The most valuable player of the finale was Dmitry Kulagin who got 29 points, 5 rebounds, and 6 assists. Dmitry Khvostov and Pavel Antipov were included in Top Five of the Cup.

On February 11th, Lokomotiv Kuban became the winner of the Russian Cup 18 years later.

— I want to congratulate all people who involve in this – all people who are working here, all the fans, all doctors, all assistants, all players who did the great job. One of goals was to win the Russian Cup. We did it the best possible way. We dominated the game, in both games and completely deserved to win the Cup.
