Loko signed a contract with Stanton Kidd

The agreement with the American forward is concluded for one year.

Stanton Kidd (198 cm, 98 kg) was born on March 18, 1992 in Baltimore, Maryland.

During his student years he played for the universities of North Carolina and Colorado State.

Stanton’s professional career began in the 2015/16 season at the Belgian Championship at Limburg. Then he played in Germany for Tubingen, in Turkey for Darussafaka, in NBA for Utah Jazz, in Australia for Melbourne United, in Turkey for Ormanspor. Kidd’s last club was Hapoel Jerusalem, playing in the Israel Championship.

In the 2017/18 season he won the EuroCup together with Darussafaka.

Andrey Vedischev, president of PBC Lokomotiv Kuban

We know Stanton. In the memorable EuroCup final of the 2017 season he played for the Darussafaka and the team's head coach was David Blatt. Kidd was useful on both sides of the court, remembered for his ability to play without the ball, defend tenaciously and score important points in the segments of the match necessary for the team. I am sure that David Blatt did not accidentally choose this basketball player. But in my opinion Kidd's potential is higher than he showed in previous seasons. We will try to help him maximize his potential at Lokomotiv. I am delighted with this signing.
