The fans themselves consider October 7, 2012 to be the date of the founding of the Active Support Sector in Basket Hall – the day when the sector got its own VK page. By that time the club had already been playing at the new arena for a year, but it was only before the 2012/13 season that a ticket program appeared – and, accordingly, the opportunity to book a permanent place for fans in the stands.
– We are well aware that Loko has a huge history and that the team had different groups of organized fans in Mineralnye Vody, Rostov-on-Don, and Krasnodar, while the club played in Olimp, – says the head of the fan sector of Lokomotiv-Kuban Boris Miroshnichenko. – We have great respect for these people and by no means claim that October 7 is the birthday of the entire fan movement of the club as a whole. But for 11 years we have already accumulated a history, which we are proud of. And this day is a holiday for us.
At the big break of the match with IBA the club presented the fan-sector with a cake, which was made by our partner – confectionery “Vanilla”. Another great gift to the fans came from the team, which finally got its first win of the new VTB United League season.
