Maurice Ndour: “Against PARMA we must be extremely focused”

– Have you already felt the toughness of long journeys from Krasnodar to other cities?

– Yeah, it's not easy. It's not easy at all, but it's part of the job. You've got to adapt, and that's what I've been doing. It's unfortunate, but there's nothing we can do about it. But I'm just glad that the team is doing everything that they can to make sure that we travel in the best conditions, so that's always appreciated.

– How do you feel at the moment? Are you ready for the next game?

– Yeah, definitely ready. Losing to CSKA was a tough pill to swallow, because we were able to win the game, but at the last minute we let down. So, now with PARMA, we definitely feel like we have the urge to win. It's not going to be an easy game. I think PARMA have a great team, they play well together, but it's going to come down to us just being extremely focused and playing defense.

– Alexander Sekulić says that you either win or learn something. What did you learn from the game against CSKA?

– What we learned is pretty obvious. It's just that when you get the lead against a good team, you cannot let down. That's when you have to really focus and close out the game. For us, that's all we have to do. There's a lot of games that happen like that, so it's just learning to understand time, possession, and situation during the game. We were not able to do that against CSKA, so hopefully we will not make that mistake again.
