Interview

Okaro White: “We felt the energy of the stands in the 4th quarter”

The Loko forward scored 15 points, made 7 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals, which made him the team leader in terms of efficiency in the winning match against PARMA (89:85).
– Congratulations! What are your emotions right now?
– I am excited with this win. The game was difficult, PARMA is playing well all season, they have a good coach. They remind me of ourselves from the end of the last season. They are hungry for victories and definitely deserve a place in the Top 6. So, we made a good job today. If Richard Solomon had not been fouled out, the final minutes could have gone differently, but everything happened the way it happened.
– Which PARMA player caused the most difficulties today?
– Isaiah Reese. He is one of the best point guards in the league. He knows how to control his team's play and is always relaxed. Today he also scored a lot of important shots. So, without a doubt my answer is Reese.
– Were you additionally motivated by the fact that Loko had not won against PARMA this season until today?
– Definitely yes. I was motivated by two previous defeats against them, as well as the loss to CSKA in the last round, which still hurts.
– How was the stands today?
– Very good! Honestly, I didn’t think that so many people would come to the game today. But today it was loud, and we felt the energy, especially at the end, when the crowd became our real sixth player. Thanks to the fans!
