In the first half, we failed to contain the opponent – we didn’t score easy shots, made too many mistakes, allowing the opponent to score in fast breaks. After a long break, we started to defend better, to move the ball, and were able to drag the opponent into the clutch. But this was not enough to win today.
UNICS has players who know how to win these kinds of matches. However, I am proud of my guys, they fought until the end. Yes, we lost, but the team has the right to leave the court with heads up high. We will work on our mistakes. All our thoughts are about the second game now.
