The second game for the Russian national team (a victory over BC PARMA with a score of 84:76) turned out to be pretty successful for the Loko forward: 7 points, 3 rebounds and 2 steals. We asked Kirill to tell us about his emotions after the game.
- Do you remember how you scored your first points for the national team?
- For sure, it was a three-pointer. We were catching up with our opponents, and I thought, oh I wish this could have helped us win. I'm very glad that we ended up turning the tide of the game.
- Which opponent was harder to play with – Venezuela or PARMA?
- PARMA, for sure! They are a very tough opponent, it was not easy for us with them in the last playoff. And they played very well against the national team. We are all very happy that we've beaten them.
- After the first match, Vlad Yemchenko evaluated your performance. Now it's your turn.
- Vlad played great – scored, assisted, hustled, created an advantage. How many points did he score, 13? Very good! But there is always room for improvement, so we will definitely study our mistakes and try to play even better next time.
