The game against Merkezefendi (82:69) was the first for the main team for another graduate of the Loko Academy. We asked Mikhail Vedischev to tell us about his emotions.
- What did you feel when you scored your first three?
- To be honest, nothing unusual. The feelings were much stronger when I got the ball in the game for the first time. I was nervous for 5-10 seconds, but gradually got into the rhythm and forgot about the excitement – and then everything went like clockwork.
- The head coach highly praised how you and Vsevolod Ishchenko made their debut…
- Well, if Andrei Vladimirovich said so, then it really was a good game!
- And how do you rate the game?
- We've beaten a team with a strong roster. There were a lot of mistakes in defense in the first half, they scored 46 points, but then we radded in concentration and in the entire second half we let them score half as many – only 23. So, the opponent did not even score 70 points. In my opinion, it was the good defense in the 2nd half that helped us win. Our coaching staff works very well, and I am sure that we will progress with each game.
