Vladislav Yemchenko: “After these two victories, we should not relax”

The Loko guard shared his thoughts on the victory over Astana (127:84).
How did you manage to beat Astana that hard?
I think we are simply stronger – both as a team and individually. Also, Astana plays with a shortened roster – there are 7 people who get most of the time. On the contrary, each player of our 12 players in the lineup can go out and make difference. Finally, it turned out to be a real fiesta for the fans today.
Are you happy with your performance in this match?
As always! I give 100 percent of myself in every game doing what is necessary for the team. If I am open, I shoot. If I see someone open, I pass. So it is a team victory, and I am always ready to be useful.
Every Loko player scored at least 6 points today. Have you already found a team game?
Something like that is already visible, but there is always something to work on. It would be interesting to see our strength over a long distance. After these two victories, we should not relax, because now there are three away matches, fewer of our beloved fans in the stands... Therefore, it will be more difficult for us than at home, but in any case, everything is in our hands.
In the 4th quarter, Loko mostly played with the club' alumni. Did you feel kind of pride for that?
Of course. You could also see how our coach was shining from the inside these moments. I think this is exactly what he strives for – to dominate the opponent by playing with our system graduates. I also felt these emotions a little – pride that the youngsters are showing themselves. It was cool.
