PBC Lokomotiv Kuban signed 29-year-old power forward J. J. Johnson for two years.
The player’s professional career started in 2011 in NBA. Johnson was picked by New Jersey Nets in the draft and immediately traded to Boston Celtics. After 36 games for Boston, Johnson moved to Italian Pistoia.
In the 2014/2015 season, Johnson played for Turkish Besiktas. The forward moved from Turkey to Russia – BC Krasny Oktyabr and later to Italian Kantu.
Last season, the American played for Darussafaka. He won EuroCup and got to the First Five of the championship. he averaged 13.9 points and 6.3 rebounds.
