For the second time in a row, the Lokomotiv Kuban guard became the most useful player of his team: against Samara (76:64), Miller scored 21 points and showed an efficiency of 30 points.
- What can you say about this game?
- It was a hard-fought game. We knew it was going to be tough. They're a pretty good team, a tough team. They play up and down. They're physical. It was a challenge for us and I'm happy the way we got the win. I enjoy games like that where it's a struggle. It's testing us. We know we're on a little win streak now, so every game is going to be tough. We get ready for the playoffs. That's what kind of game it's going to be.
- Why Loko started so slowly?
- I think we weren't getting in our sets, we weren't pushing the ball. You know, we're an up-and-down team too as well, so I don't think we got enough stops to get out and run. And so, in the fourth quarter, we were able to get stops and run. We limited them to nine points in the fourth quarter, so it was just defense.
- You always go into the very thickness of opponents. Is that your style?
- Yeah, I expect for me to do that. You know, the good games and the minutes I play, I feel like I can do that every game. I want to be the most effective player in the league. So, I'm going to try to do that. Hopefully, we keep winning and then I can be like that on the court.
