- What can you say about this game?
- A very tough victory reached by the whole team effort. It is always hard when you lead the table. Each opponent is especially focused on you, so we must be fully concentrated all four quarters.
- What helped you win?
- The disciplined defense: sometimes we made the right fouls, and sometimes, on the contrary, we stepped back and let them score, instead of fouling. These small, correct details led us to the victory. But the most important thing in such games is the energy within the team. The role of the bench is very important: even if someone made a mistake, you need to encourage them as much as possible, so that they feel supported and do not lose the track of the game.
- How was the game personally for you?
- I want to believe that my performance gave the team a boost. I think when a young player comes out and performs good, it charges the whole team. So I rate my game against Uralmash well: I managed to score my points, make several successful attacks. Of course, there are moments where we need to improve, but overall I am happy. The main thing is that we won and are still in first place without defeats.
- Your next opponent is UNICS. What can you say about them?
- It will be the most serious test for us since the start of the season. UNICS defends as tough as possible, somewhere even on the verge of a foul, so it will be a very interesting game.
