Vladislav Yemchenko: “Hope we never have such losses again”

The Loko guard commented on the results of the game against PARMA (79:81).
What we the reasons of that defeat at your opinion?
As Kirill Temirov said in an interview before the game, it appeared to be tough, real men's basketball. Many of us have played with Evgeny Pashutin as a coach, so we know very well that he always says his team to fight bone to bone. We even were ready for that. But somehow we just did not control the game. We knew that we had more talent, that our bench was deeper, but we still dragged this game to the clutch. Important times have come – a test of strength for us. In every season there is a game where you know that you should've won, but you did not manage. I hope that we never have such losses again. Now we need to analyze what we can improve, so as not to bring such games to an unclear ending, where everything will depend on one shot or rebound.
For almost a whole quarter, Loko played with the total Russian five. What can you say about these minutes?
It is very important for us to know that we are trusted. It is the dream and task of Andrey Vladimirovich [Vedishchev] that Loko alumni play the main role and achieve results for the team, I think this is no secret to anyone. When we came out as Russian five in the 3rd quarter, we started to act with energy, defend better, run, found open throws. That's when the candle of our game lit up... Well, and then what happened happened.
There is a tough trip ahead – to Astana and Krasnoyarsk. Are you ready?
This is our job. It will be interesting to see, what conclusions our team will draw after three defeats in a row. Personally, I am sure that we will improve our team play, get into the right frame of mind, and everything will be okay in the next games.
